Ente Keralam Ente Samskaram Ente Bhasha

OHM NZ started Ente Keralam Ente Samskaram Ente Bhasha in October 2021 coinciding with Vidyarambham. A small group of dedicated and enthusiastic members help to run these weekly online sessions. Here children and interested adults engage to learn our Malayalam language, our culture and our religion. This provides a platform to discover the various culture, traditions, dances etc along with our language. The sessions also include “Sandhya Namam” – a time where the whole family sits together for evening prayers. This used to be an everyday event for people who grew up in Kerala which got slowly lost in our fast pace of catching up with life. We try to create an interest in the language and also develop the habit of chanting Sandhya Namam.

എൻ്റെ കേരളം എൻ്റെ സംസ്കാരം എൻ്റെ ഭാഷ

2021 ഒക്ടോബറിൽ വിദ്യാരംഭത്തോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ച് OHM NZ എൻ്റെ കേരളം എൻ്റെ സംസ്‌കാരം എൻ്റെ ഭാഷ എന്ന ഒരു സാംസ്കാരിക അധ്യയന പരിപാടി ആരംഭിച്ചു. ഇത് പ്രതിവാര ഓൺലൈൻ സെഷനുകൾ ആയി സമർപ്പിതരും ഉത്സാഹികളുമായ ഒരു ചെറിയ സംഘം അംഗങ്ങളുടെ സഹായത്തോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. ഇവിടെ കുട്ടികളും, താൽപ്പര്യമുള്ള മുതിർന്നവരും നമ്മുടെ മലയാളം ഭാഷയും നമ്മുടെ സംസ്കാരവും ധർമ്മവും പഠിക്കാൻ ഏർപ്പെടുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ ഭാഷയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പം വിവിധ സംസ്‌കാരങ്ങൾ, പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങൾ, നൃത്തങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ പരിചയപ്പെടുന്നതിനു ഇത് ഒരു വേദി നൽകുന്നു. സെഷനുകളിൽ “സന്ധ്യാ നാമം” ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു – മുഴുവൻ കുടുംബവും സായാഹ്ന സമയത്തു നാമജപത്തിനായി ഒരുമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്, കേരളത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു വളർന്നവർക്ക് ഒരു ദൈനംദിന സംഭവമായിരുന്നു. ഈ ആചാരവും, ഭാഷയുടെയും മറ്റു പരമ്പരാഗത ശൈലിയുടെയും കൂടെ ഈ സെഷനുകളിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഭാഷയിൽ താൽപ്പര്യം സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനും സന്ധ്യാ നാമം ജപിക്കുന്ന ശീലം വളർത്തിയെടുക്കാനും ഇതിൽ കൂടെ ഞങ്ങൾ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.
